[About Lanz] [Return to the Heart]

RETURN OF THE HEART is a recording that Lanz made for his trip. With this album Lanz also recollected some very successful music such as Christophori's Dream, Heartsounds, and the improvisations.

1	Return to the Heart	Return to the heart is about Reunion between Lanz's wife and her natural daughter (who was adopted shortly after birth) The music reflects the warmth of home, and how such beautiful daughter transforms the family atmosphere.
2	Inprovisation: Near the Still Waters of Amsterdam	The following music are Lanz's impressions of Europe. This music describes the little movement and refreshing feeling under Amsterdam's sunset.

14	Cristofori's Dream	David Lanz's outbreaking composition. Formally dedicated to Cristophori and his highly controversial invention - the piano. The music expresses isolation, frustration and worry of the creator, while not noticing how important and influential that invention is.
