Over the years David has recorded as a part of a pop-rock ensemble and in the company of an internationally renowned orchestra. David's first album "Heartsounds"shows imagination through simple but drifting keystrokes, which later became one of his major characteristics. His later albums, Nightfalls, Cristofori's dream(1988, one of the top best selling albums) became a great example of New Age piano music.

David Lanz is the major key player in one of the new age giant recording company(Narada,) not only did he create solo albums, but his music is featured in many of the Narada's sample recordings.

RETURN OF THE HEART is a recording that Lanz made for his trip. With this album Lanz also recollected some very successful music such as Christophori's Dream, Heartsounds, and the improvisations.

1	Return to the Heart	Return to the heart is about Reunion between Lanz's wife and her natural daughter (who was adopted shortly after birth) The music reflects the warmth of home, and how such beautiful daughter transforms the family atmosphere.
