About James Last |

James Last is born in April, 1929, Germany and began piano at the age of 9. At 14, James Last took his proper education in Heeres Music School. James' favorite instrument was Bass. James was also interested in the popular American New Jazz and Swing Sounds, which lead him to create the Last-Becker Band. In 1950, James was nominated for the best bass player in Germany... and consecutively won many prizes. Later, James contributed hismself to the Polydor records, and performed his first album "Non-Stop Dancing." In 1968 James' music band was nominated the "band of the year." After this exciting event James became a world wide famous composer and conductor, performing music all around the world. |

| James Last was greatly known for his implanting the "Non Stop Dancing" style into popular and classical musics. There are 25 "Non Stop Dancing" albums being made and has sold over millions of copies. Pepople says that: the key reason that this style is so widely acceptable is because of James' clever choice of pop music, and his outstanding composing skills. |
